Chocolate-Vanilla Marble Cupcakes

Hello loves—Happy Friday! We just had two orders for chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and we had some extra batter. We could have made three more chocolate and three more vanilla, but that would have been boring…so we combined them, making six marble cupcakes! We started by mixing the wet and dry ingredients for both batters and lining the cupcake pan. We filled the molds with a third chocolate and a third vanilla batter. Then, we used a metal skewer to swirl the batter around, creating a gorgeous marble effect. Meanwhile, while the cupcakes were baking, we whipped up delicious vanilla frosting, and, since it was our customer’s favorite color, dyed half of it purple. We put the purple frosting into a bag without a tip, and plain vanilla into a bag without a tip, and then combined both of them in their separate bags into a piping bag with a tip. Finally, we swirled the frosting into a dollop on top. What do you think?
